The Faculty of Architecture and Built Environment (FABE) aspires to produce graduates in the fields of Geomatic Engineering, Architecture and Quantity Surveying. The country requires more graduates who are qualified, creative, innovative, skilful and competent in the development of the nation towards achieving Vision 2020. FABE is committed in producing graduates who are employable and well regarded by the industry locally and globally.

Faculty of Business, Information & Human Sciences (FBIHS)

The Faculty of Business, Information and Human Sciences (FBIHS) is known for its quality academic programmes, impressive academics and exciting community outreach activities. Each programme that the faculty offers is intended to give students the skills and experience needed to advance their careers. The programmes are designed with a genuine understanding to meet the industry requirements for highly professional personnel in various fields.

Faculty of Engineering, Science & Technology (FEST)

The Faculty of Engineering, Science & Technology (FEST) was among the first faculties established in IUKL. The strong industry linkages and the rich history of the university enabled us to groom future engineers, scientists, and technologist to be successful technopreneurs. The FEST is committed to excellence and continuously striving for improvement that makes it one of the more reputable faculties in Malaysia. Our programmes have been carefully designed to encourage and nurture important aspects such as innovation, independence, critical thinking and working towards producing graduates who are both skilled and respected professionals within their chosen field.

Centre for Foundation and General Studies

The Centre for Foundation and General Studies (CFGS) comprises the primary disciplines of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology which support specialised interdisciplinary fields of teaching, research and industry. All academic programmes emphasise the integration of the basic sciences within an interdisciplinary approach with the expressed intention of encouraging research, innovation and the preparation of graduates to work in a diverse range of professional practices. Apart from that, this centre manages common courses (MPU courses), general subjects specializing in Mathematics and Science, as well as the Intensive English programme.

Centre for Postgraduate Studies (CPS)

Centre for Postgraduate Studies and Research (CPSR) is a new centre formed in November 2018 after merging the Centre for Postgraduate Studies (CPS) with Research Management Centre (RMC). Centre for Postgraduate Studies (CPS) which was established in 2009, has been renamed Postgraduate Studies Unit to continue serving the postgraduate community of the University; while Research Management Centre (RMC) which was established in 2009 has become Research Management Unit to continue supporting the University’s research. CPSR strives to create an environment, which stimulates and encourages both intellectual and social exchange among postgraduate students, the research staff and faculty members.
