I have big passion for cars from my childhood, and I found profession of my dream in IUKL University. IUKL offer diploma and bachelor in Automotive Engineering. This programme in IUKL help me to open new knowledge about cars. And what I like the most about IUKL give chance for everyone. If you will study hard, you will receive award in scholarship way, I think is great.
I did Google research before deciding to enroll at IUKL. Compared to other universities which offers the same course, IUKL is the most affordable in terms of fees. My faculty is furnished with up-to-date facilities, hence it enables me to make use of it to the fullest. I am a member of Automotive Club and a vocalist for Music Club. Music is my passion and I am lucky to be chosen to be part of IUKL Music Club. We jam twice a week at the music room.
My friends recommended me to study at IUKL. They told me that the automotive engineering programme in IUKL is good. I like the flexibility of learning at IUKL. I can arrange my own time and schedule. Everything is under my control. The environment at IUKL is relaxing. I like it when it comes to facilities at IUKL, as the facilities are up-to-date and well equipped for automotive students. I get the chance to use and explore the facilities on my own. There is a balance between theory and practical knowledge at IUKL. I learn in class and practise in the workshop. The lecturers give us the freedom to explore on our own.
My learning experience at IUKL is great. I am happy studying here. I am very much into cars and I chose this course as I have great interest in this field. The lecturers for this programme are experienced and very proactive. They are always ready to assist students at any time, which eases our learning process. Learning is not restricted to classes only but we are free to enquire about anything at all even after lectures. In terms of facilities and learning materials, IUKL is fully equipped. We are free to learn and explore as much as we can. We are also exposed to the relevant knowledge such as technical and practical skills. We get to learn and understand the automotive systems and technology such as inspection, maintenance, repairing, servicing and analysing vehicles.
I really like the programme that I am currently studying. It gives me so much pleasure and happiness in despite of hard working during semester. I am enjoy studying in IUKL, and especially studying in Automotive Engineering. I want to help my university and therefore I am inviting my friends join IUKL for the best future. I am glad that in 2017, we got De Centrum. The building is making our lives more colourful and joyful. Every day, I spend my free time there surrounded by my friends. Everyone can find special and personal place there, to have fun or to dream about beautiful future.
The reason I chose to do engineering diploma at IUKL is the duration. It is less than 3 years. Doing my degree here was a plus point because I know this place, the system and the lecturers. It was convenient for me. I was the President of the Students Representative Council (SRC, 2014 – 2016) and an active member of the Automotive Club. Being a SRC member, polished my soft skills and widened my network since I had to meet a lot of people from different universities.
There were lots of bittersweet memories as a student, especially staying up late with group of friends burning the midnight oil to prepare for the finals. We struggled to keep up with university life and at the same time, didn’t want to lose a moment of being a teenager. I would like to pass on the knowledge I gained from my working years to the younger generation, hence I chose to be an Assistant Lecturer at IUKL. This is the best decision I have ever made. I love my students and hope they will contribute to the university and the country with the knowledge they get here.
Since my school years, I have had an interest in Engineering. As it is a broad field, I found out that I am more interested in Automotive. To me, it is more interesting compared to other engineering specializations. I get to learn about engines, the technical and mechanical aspects which I find pretty cool.
I am very glad to talk about Intensive English Programme (IEP). I achieved a score of 5.5 in my IELTS test. This programme helped to enhance my communication skills. Apart from that, the lecturers were so helpful and supportive. They always try to give us something new which prepared me for my Bachelor's programme in IUKL.
IUKL not only provides the knowledge but also a broad exposure, especially in the programme that I am taking. We get hands-on experience, which is fascinating. It’s almost like how I visualized myself working on cars since I was young. I now understand in depth about automobiles and how they are put together. It’s hard to not pay attention in class and that is all I need.
It all started from an education fair in Mauritius as I got to know about IUKL from there. IUKL was the best choice simply because of its history in the Engineering field. I am currently pursuing my degree in Automotive Engineering. Growing up, I have always had a passion for cars and I am curious to learn and know more about the industry. Being here in IUKL, I feel at home away from home. I am comfortable here due to the fact that there is always a helping hand to assist and a willing ear to listen. This is what motivates me to keep going.
The main reason I chose IUKL is its location. Since I live in Seremban, it is convenient for me to travel back and forth from home to campus. In terms of facilities, the equipment and the lab for automotive students are sufficient. The lecturers are also helpful and approachable during or after class for consultation.
