Vice-Chancellor’s Award Recipient 2015 (Diploma in Architecture)
“I enrolled with IUKL in 2012 for my Diploma in Architecture and I am now pursuing my Master’s. Most people would think that architecture is all about drawing buildings and calculating. That is just one small part of what architecture is about.
Architecture requires us to be able to analyse, design, conceptualize, draw, create 3D modelling, acquire presentation skills, etc. The course will help us to develop those skills over the years.
Architecture opens up many opportunities to a variety of fields. As the course is mostly project-based, it allows me to travel to places for site visits. I get the chance to see new environments for my studies. Depending on the project, we might even get hands-on work experience.
These are all invaluable experience that prepares us for the real working world later on. I’m also thankful to the lecturers for their guidance.”
