I first came to IUKL as an exchange student from Xinjiang University of Finance & Economics. I spent half a year in IUKL before completing my Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in English for Professional Communication. With such a great study experience at IUKL, I decided to do my MBA here. I have a circle of classmates that are very good in their studies, and I learnt to be competitive to be as good as them.
I love it here as I find it convenient for me in terms of accommodation and other facilities. MBA is an intensive course but since it was a small class with only a few students, you get more attention from the lecturers, which is great. As I completed my MBA within a year and a half, my schedule was tight. I cramped a lot of subjects every semester and I was fully occupied. I didn’t get to travel around Malaysia much but I had the chance to go to Melaka. I also get to experience Hari Raya celebration at my friend’s place. The MBA compliments my engineering background. Studying business helps a lot in my job in terms of managing people, organizing training and a lot of other things that the engineering course did not cover. I made really good friends during my short period here. The time spent with good friends is the fondest memory that I will miss when I go back home.
The MBA programme in IUKL was very useful and enjoyable for me. The programme offered all the courses that are fundamental for administering a business and it also provide the knowledge and skills required for that. The teaching staff were very helpful and friendly and my classmates were also nice and eager to learn and add value to the programme. Studying MBA was very useful for me as I was eligible for managerial/administration roles in the engineering consulting organization that I am working in. MBA helped me a lot in building a team, managing the work of the team, monitoring and analyzing the progress in a systematic way and providing suggestions based on that. In addition, I was able to assist the management of the organization in providing a strategic analysis and based on that analysis we were able to make strategic decisions. This is further to helping in recruiting new employees and engineers and providing a procedure for that. I have to admit that, as a passionate photographer, studying MBA helped me in organizing and planning my work in photography which led me to win 3 international photography awards. IUKL is a fast-developing university in a beautiful and fast developing country. The process of registration and enrolling for a programme in IUKL is really easy and simple. That is why choosing IUKL was a great decision for me. In addition, the wide range of international students in IUKL enriched my life. That is why I strongly advise the potential students to consider studying in IUKL as it is one of the most progressive and promising universities in Malaysia.
“ I was an exchange student from Xinjiang University of Finance & Economics and was given an opportunity to come to IUKL to experience the cultural diversity. I am impressed by the study environment and teaching style in IUKL, which is really different from my university in China. In IUKL, the lectures emphasize on interaction with students and develop the students’ ability to solve problems, which really helps me to improve myself.
I decided to major in Marketing because of my talkative and friendly nature. I love to talk, to make friends and to share knowledge with everyone. And it is time for me to use my potential to the fullest. I was actively involved in campus activities. I used to be the Project Manager for “MBA Talk” programme and took part in CSR activities. I also played volleyball and represented IUKL in competitions.
My experience in IUKL was good. The lecturers were very friendly and helpful. The multicultural student environment also helped me to learn more about their cultures and at the same time enhanced my communication skills. Studying MBA in IUKL has given me a broader view and knowledge. I majored in HR and the knowledge I gained is definitely a head start for me to practice in the industry later. I would definitely recommend IUKL to others.
I love that IUKL is serious about the development of its student. Classwork and assessments are carried out to improve the real life knowledge of the students. I enjoyed taking part in the co-curricular activities the most when I was studying there. I am already working now. It took me 4 months to get a job after I completed my studies.
My experience at IUKL was awesome and I met a lot of new friends. I did MBA at IUKL majoring in Finance & Banking. I must say syllabus was enriching and it will definitely help me when I am out for work. I took part in many charity events as a volunteer. I remembered visiting an old folks home in Kajang. It was the sweetest moment for me since I was able to help and care for them.
