I love studying in IUKL and I absolutely love the library where I can get loads and loads of books to read. Going to class is motivating for me as the lecturers are from different countries. I find this very interesting.
Architecture is not about drawing alone. It consists of theory and a lot of other things. It is satisfying when you can complete the drawings within the deadline. My favourite lecture is Mdm Juriah and she teaches Studio subjects. We spend a lot of time together and she is very helpful. Madam Balqish is also a nice lecturer. She is firm but a systematic person. I stay in the hostel. The hostel is quite okay but there are a lot of things that need improvement. I enjoy RM1,000 rebate since I registered during the promo period. The rebate is helpful as it reduces the financial burden.
The programme related to architecture offered by IUKL is recognized by the industry. This is the reason why I chose IUKL over other universities. Looking through its achievements, professional recognitions, involvement in competitions by students and lectures, I am confident that I can realize my dream at IUKL. The IUKL campus is big and the facilities are well maintained.
“I am learning about new cultures, trying out new food and learning a lot of new things. My experience in IUKL is that I find the lecturers and students here very helpful. In a way, this makes me feel welcome. Getting to know students from various religions and cultures helps me to understand people better. And it is an enriching experience.
Previously my family and I stayed in Rawang but we moved to De Centrum Apartment once my brother enroled to study in IUKL. It is easy for me as well staying nearby with my parents. Plus, De Centrum is a great place with a lot of facilities. We always spend time relaxing near the swimming pool. I wanted to study something else but my mom suggested Architecture. I followed her advice and I believe she wants the best for me. I love the environment in IUKL. It is calm and relaxing. The lecturers are very supportive with our ideas and they spend a lot of time with us. We click with our lecturers and I believe I cannot get this kind of student-lecturer relationship elsewhere.
Overall, IUKL is a nice university. It has everything you need. I love the multinational community in the campus. I got to know other cultures and it makes me open to differences. I stay in IUKL Hostel which is so close to my faculty. It makes my everyday schedule easier. Studying architecture makes me realize that there are a lot of wonderful creations around me. I can easily adapt what I study in class into the daily practical life.
