“I grew up moving from country to country my whole life as a child. For me to decide to stay and study at a local university in Malaysia, was something I never expected. I made amazing friends that have been with me through thick and thin. As an Architecture student, I learned that there's more than just designing and critiques. You'll study the science, mathematics and language of architecture. It's a professional course that is meant to challenge you in so many ways. It's truly the only programme you're free to imagine and design a building of your own. I landed a job a month after I completed my studies. My studies have taught me the people skills needed, the practical use of programs and so much more. The dramatic deadlines from my study days are no longer as dramatic as my current working deadlines. My studies have prepared me to practically utilise my abilities and to provide a service. I am currently working with VERITAS Architects Sdn Bhd as an Assistant Architect. I've assisted with writings, presentations, research and so much more. I've been given the opportunity to work closely with the Vice President Ar. Lillian Tay, who is currently the Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM) President.”
