“For me, the best thing in IUKL were the lecturers. They were very supportive and caring. For example, there was one time I didn’t attend a class since I was on MC and my lecturer texted me asking “Are you okay”? I was touched by his kindness.
The IUKL community was very friendly. Back then, IUKL campus was not this big. It was like we knew everyone in the campus and we bumped into each other a lot.
The “mentor-mentee” programme has really helped me to achieve things I never imagined. My mentor who was my lecturer me gave support to try things that I didn’t think I could do. I learnt new things everyday and that’s what keeps me going until now.
I am currently working as a freelancer. I take part in social media campaigns and I’m also hosting for thevocket.com (online food channel). I love what I do and will keep doing it.”
