“I was really into geomatic engineering and in Malaysia, there are only 3 universities offering this programme, including IUKL. I chose IUKL due to its location and my role as a badminton player. I need to be around Klang Valley for tournaments and practices.
I was awarded the 100% sports scholarship for my involvement in badminton. I am still playing and the practice takes place every evening either in Putrajaya or in University Malaya (UM).
It is a bit hard for me to balance between badminton and study and I have to maintain my CGPA of at least 2.50 in order to maintain the scholarship. So far, the lecturers have been helpful, understanding and knowledgeable in their field of study.
The good thing about IUKL is the small ratio of students to lecturers. Hence, it makes the study easier. My favourite subject now is Math 2 since it is quite easy for me. And I love having classes with Sr. Siti Nur Alia as she is good and friendly.”
