“My friends and I registered in IUKL together and my first choice had always been architecture. It is such an interesting course because I get to know how architects think and analyse things.
My favourite subject is studio, because I am able to apply everything that I have learned. I joined the Asian Young Designer competition sponsored by Nippon Paint and I am also part of the Chinese Society. I enjoyed being in the club and meeting new people.
I applied for the Sin Chew Daily Education Fund at the end of my first year and it helped a lot in paying for my education. Many people believe that you need to have really high grades to apply for scholarship, but that is not true. You should take a chance because you’ll never know until you try.”
