“My interest is in calculation and I excelled in Math in high school. Knowing my interest, my father consulted a few of his friends and they suggested that I go into the Quantity Surveying programme. During that time, QS was something new but, I still decided to give a try and go for it.
At the same time, I got a letter from IUKL (previously known as KLIUC) and I checked on the programmes offered and decided to enrol in the Quantity Surveying (QS) programme. My batch was the first to start this programme at IUKL.
I love the lecturers in IUKL. They are helpful and reachable anytime. I loved the old café and apart from that, Bangi is just a short distance away and it is convenient for us to get food and daily necessities.
After graduating from IUKL, I worked for a year before furthering my studies in the United Kingdom (UK). Coming back from UK, I got a job offer to work as a Service Engineer in a company located in Petaling Jaya. My job scope is to conduct training and workshops for the users who purchase the QS software from my company. It has been fun so far and I believe this work is good for me to improve my skills.”
