Getting a PhD degree is every academician’s dream on the path to reach excellence in teaching, research, publication and academic related activities. It is signifies a testimony of one’s authority in a particular area of expertise after many years of hard work with determination and perseverance.
A Doctorate degree is a license to teach in a real sense. Therefore, there is a need for a faculty member to be an authority, in full command of the subject right up to the boundaries of current knowledge, and be able to extend them.
However, with the current trend and acquisition of new knowledge, one is not limited to expanding to own area of strength. Working in a corporate environment requires an exposure to businesslike activities that would generate more income as this serves as a bottom line for any business to sustain. IUKL is no exception in this respect.
With this scenario as a backdrop, it is necessary to think beyond academia and change the mindset in order to be relevant and sustainable in the future.
What is the One PhD One Product Programme
The One PhD One Product Programme is an initiative to unlock the potential of all PhD holders in IUKL so that they can lead a project irrespective of scale and type, academic or non-academic.
