IUKL Makes an Impact at the 2025 RCEP Local Governments and Friendship Cities Cooperation (Huangshan) Forum
Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL) left a notable impression at the 2025 Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Local Governments and Friendship Cities Cooperation (Huangshan) Forum, not only through its participation in the conference but also by showcasing cutting-edge technology at the exhibition. The university’s use of GO-2 robotic dogs drew considerable attention, highlighting IUKL’s commitment to technological innovation in higher education.

Under the leadership of Chancellor Professor Chen Xiaoyun—who also serves as Chairman of Star Teenagers Group—IUKL participated actively in the international forum held at the Huangshan Xiangming International Hotel, China.
Joining Professor Chen were Professor Dr. Suraya Amirrudin, Deputy Vice Chancellor of IUKL, and Ms. Puteri Zulaikha Mohd Yusoff, Head of Corporate Communications and Branding. Also present was the management of Anhui Lvhai Business Vocational College, IUKL’s strategic partner in China.

The forum brought together hundreds of delegates from government agencies and educational institutions across the globe. Malaysian Member of Parliament Tan Kok Wai, who is also a newly appointed member of IUKL’s Board of Governors, delivered one of the keynote speeches—underscoring the university’s rising presence on the international stage.
IUKL’s booth at the RCEP product exhibition featured the university’s four guiding missions: Cooperation for All-Win Outcomes, Serving the Local Development, Integration of Industry & Education, and Pursuit of a Leading Place in ASEAN. Professor Chen personally introduced these pillars, reflecting IUKL’s strategic direction and regional vision.
IUKL’s participation in this prestigious forum reaffirms its dedication to building meaningful global partnerships across industries and institutions, while reinforcing the university’s visibility and influence in the region and beyond.
