Industrialized Building System (IBS) is known as the procedure or the method for mass production of quality building. There are many perks for practicing IBS including the development of the construction work site and the better condition of the components and better economics. These benefits meet the customer’s huge housing demands.
For the two full day course, there were five modules given by two certified speakers from CIDB, Ts Dr. Mohd Ashraf bin Mohd Fateh and Mr. Farid bin Ishak to make sure the participants understand the IBS concept. The modules are Introduction to IBS, IBS Project Management, IBS Calculator and Marking System, Modular Coordinate System, and Design Concept of Pre-Cast Concrete Systems. In line with the construction industry in Malaysia today, this training would be very beneficial for the students as they have the exposure and understand the IBS before they start their career.
