On Friday, 24 January 2025, 200 IUKL postgraduate students from China together with several IUKL staff members attended the Chinese New Year Gala Dinner at Restoran Fui Chuai, a heartfelt celebration to make this festive season truly special for those spending it far from home.
The evening was filled with warmth, laughter, and joy as we came together to honor cherished traditions while embracing the beauty of Malaysia’s cultural diversity. Every moment was designed to make our students feel at home, surrounded by friends and festive cheer.
A special highlight from the night was listening from three IUKL PhD students, who shared their inspiring learning experiences at IUKL and in Malaysia. Their stories of growth, discovery, and cultural exchange touched everyone’s hearts and reminded us of the importance of building connections across borders.
