I knew IUKL from my cousin, who was teaching the foundation course in IUKL. After I finished my high school I told her that maybe I will continue my studies in civil engineering, that’s mainly because my dad is a civil engineer. She told me that the civil engineering course is one of the best programmes in IUKL. After that, I came to IUKL and registered for the foundation. After I finished my foundation here, now I am studying the civil engineering programme. For my bachelor’s here, I got 100% sponsorship from The Star Education Fund. That is good because at least my parents don’t have to pay for my tuition fees here. And so far it is fun to study here. I got involved in a few events within the campus, like the Chinese new year celebration, organised by the Chinese Society of IUKL. Besides the Chinese Society of IUKL, I also joined the Dodgeball Club. Besides the societies, the social life around the campus is nice too.
