“I studied Civil Engineering and specialized in structural engineering because I have always been amazed by the uniqueness of the structural wonders in the world, such as Taipei 101, Bird Nest, Burj Khalifah, Palm Jumeirah, Pyramid of Giza, Trump Tower, etc. and I wish that one day I could build something similar. Before graduating, I once worked part-time at IUKL’s Marketing and Communications (Marcom) Division and at IKRAM Structural Assessment (ISA). At Marcom, I learned about telemarketing, sales pitch, and market research, while at ISA I learned about forensic checking and testing assessment. During my internship, I worked at Brunsfield and was assigned to the Brunsfield Embassy View project at Embassy Row, Jalan Ampang. There I learned about the ins and outs of construction, including managing workers, rectifying construction mistakes and so on.”
