“I did have issues in coping and understanding the foundations of QS since my A-Levels was in Engineering. However, my colleagues and lecturers helped me a lot on this and I am grateful to them.
A QS acts as a lawyer and an accountant in the construction field. There are a few documents that need to be prepared by a QS before a project starts and after a project finishes such as tender report, finance report etc. A QS is considered important since they monitor the cash flow of a project and they go for site visits to monitor the progress of the project.”
