Agriculture is the backbone of Malaysia’s economy. The plantation sector in Malaysia has contributed significantly to the Malaysian economy. The National Agrofood Policy 2021-2030 (NAP 2.0) is holistically formulated to continue the first National Agrofood Policy (NAP) with a focus on the modernisation and development of the agrifood sector as well as enhancing national food security. Malaysia continues to be regarded as the reference point for oil palm, rubber, cocoa, and coconut upstream and downstream technology. Using this local expertise, it is pertinent that IUKL takes this opportunity to develop a programme at the sub-professional level to supply trained personnel to cater for the management of plantation crops, which are rapidly expanding in the region.
Why Should I Take This Programme?
- Agriculture is a huge industry.
- Agriculture is a high-tech sector.
- We will always need agriculture.
- Money is good.
