IUKL Christmas Fiesta 2013

Since 2009, the IUKL Christian Fellowship Society has been organising the IUKL Christmas Fiesta. The years of experience in conducting such festivities have helped to motivate the committee members to organise this event on 21 December 2013 at the Multipurpose Hall.

One of the objectives of this event is to gather IUKL students and other universities of diverse religions to share the Christmas spirit. In addition, this event was also held to unite people regardless of their beliefs. Also invited to this open event were the orphans from Rumah Keluarga Kami. This contributed to 380 attendees.

Attendees of the event were entertained by singing and dancing performances by the talented IUKL students which created a vivacious and jolly ambience throughout the event.

All those who attended gave donations to the orphans. The smile carved on the orphans’ facades boosted the organisers’ spirits. It is hoped that through this event, everyone will help each other and treat each person the same despite differences in religion and race.
