Research Grant from Malaysia Toray Science Foundation (MTSF)

(9 May, 2016) – MALAYSIA TORAY SCIENCE FOUNDATION (MTSF) is offering the Science and Technology Research Grant (STRG) to eligible Malaysian scientists and researchers.

The research grant is meant to provide financial assistance to young Malaysian researchers (below 40 years of age) for basic research in science and technology (limited to the fields of natural sciences, including the environment, excluding clinical medicine and mathematics). The Foundation will provide up to RM300, 000 research grants per year, comprising 10 to 15 grants.

The details of the grant are as shown below.

  • Amount Grant : RM60,000 (maximum)
  • Duration of project : 12 months (maximum)
  • Research Aspect : Basic research in science and technology
  • Language : English
  • Deadline of Submission : 20TH May 2016
