Whether you realize it or not, you are involved in business activities daily. The buying and selling of goods is a business activity that happens every day. Due to technological development, the business world is also changing rapidly. To involve yourself in business, you need to learn a number of things. Economics and finance is a big part of this area.

Why should I study Economics and Finance?

A major in economics will make you marketable for most jobs in the business world. The knowledge gained from this major such as supply and demand theory, production and cost, inflation, interest rates and so on are important considerations in business decision making. A good understanding of this area will be an advantage to adapt to the changing economic environment. This will enhance one’s expertise to be able to analyse critical problems in the business world which will enhance the operational efficiency of the firm you are working with.

A major in finance will provide you the skills in dealing with budgets, stocks, bonds, investments and so on. This field is about managing money, funds and finances. This programme has been developed with the combination of substantial knowledge in economics and finance which has made this degree programme unique, dynamic and highly strategic. How much will I make?
