At IUKL we have students from all over the world. This is good for international communication practice. We have a mix of many nationalities but still you feel comfortable and safe at the same time. I used to live in the hostel when I did my diploma. The security is guaranteed since they use thumb print access. No strangers are allowed and the students privacy is assured. I’ve participated in a few competitions. It is a good exposure for me as a student. I get to know people from other universities and share ideas with them. I learnt a lot by taking part in competitions and that is when the real practice comes in.
It was indeed a smooth sailing journey for me before I WAS officially accepted as a IUKL student. The application process was completed within a month. The living cost in Malaysia is very affordable. Furthermore, Malaysians are very friendly and supportive. There is so much that I have learned from my lectures, from planning, drawing, designing and implementing the whole idea. The lecturers are very insightful and that is one of the reasons I love my studies very much. They inspire me to be better, work harder and contribute more.
I was able to maximize the credit transfer since I was a progression student. I skipped year 1 for the degree and am expecting to complete my studies within 2 years. I love the environment in IUKL. The campus is big and there is a lot to explore. Facilities wise, it is up to the standard. The library provides up-to-date reference materials. I stay in the hostel which is well equipped. Security is guaranteed since entry is through thumb print access. All the facilities are also accessible within walking distance.
Malaysia is a nice and safe country with many beautiful places to visit. It has nice, warm and tropical climate. Studying in IUKL is an amazing experience. It has good infrastructure. The lecturers are nice and ready to help me at any time. Through the programme I am currently taking, I learn many things like building models, presentations and group work.
