An education agency recommended IUKL to me since I wanted to pursue a career in Business E-Commerce. IUKL is one of the universities offering this business option in Malaysia. E-commerce brings its own unique advantages and contribution to businesses and is becoming the option used by many. That is why I chose this course. There are a lot of events inside and outside of the campus that we, as students can participate. So far, the most memorable event for me is the cultural night organized by the International Students Association of IUKL. I performed at the event and sang an Indonesian song. There are also many other events that I participated in. It’s exciting and enjoyable to participate and perform in events.
The main reason I enrolled in IUKL is because of the scholarship offered. Since I got quite good result in my STPM, I got a scholarship for the first semester. Until now, I still enjoy the tuition fee waiver. The facilities in the library are getting better now since they have added more rooms for discussion. The library will be crowded when it comes to the final exams, so I opt to study in the foyer.
It took me less than 2 months to secure a job. The privilege of being an IUKL student is that the university is widely recognized and with its good reputation, it has given me an edge over other candidates.
Looking back to 2008 brings back so many memories. I would say, IUKL is a good place to study and groom yourself. I love the lecturers as they are approachable and always ready to help and guide me back then. I was a tuition fee waiver recipient. I love the programme I took. It is a mixture of business and IT. It definitely helped me in my work now. I loved one subject ‘Managing Cultural Diversity’ where I get to understand the cultures all over the world. It was interesting. I had no problem studying here. I was active and involved in a lot of clubs and societies. I spent my free time with all the activities. I have learned a lot during my studies here and I even picked up Malay language!
