On 4th March, 2020 a delegation from the National College of Automotive Technology, Oman arrived at Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL) to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) which officially recognizes the two institutions commitment to future academic collaboration.
The MoU was signed by the Vice-Chancellor of IUKL, Prof. Dr. Ideris Zakaria and the Dean of NCAT, Mr. Haji Al Balushi. The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Science & Technology of IUKL, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Mohd Nasir Hussin, and Vocational Training Unit Manager of NCAT, Mr. Hilal Alamri witnessed the signing ceremony.
The MoU between the two institutions aims to strengthen international linkages in promoting and developing more academic affiliation collaboration. The MoU incorporates offer of academic courses and curriculum; exchange of faculty members; student exchange; joint cultural exchange programmes; and other types of potential collaboration. It is also hoped that the MoU will nurture better friendship and co-operation between the two institutions.
The signing of the memorandum marks IUKL’s first partnership with the National College of Automotive Technology from Oman.
