On 14th August 2024, we welcomed 58 students from NSB, Bangalore, on their first day of the Educulture Tour Programme. They attended two insightful lectures that focused on the coordination and configuration of global value chains and the disruptive technologies in business. These sessions are not only educational but are essential in equipping the students with the knowledge and skills they need to emerge as future leaders in the global economy. This marks the beginning of an enriching and transformative experience for them.
On 15th August 2024, students from NSB Bangalore participated in two insightful lectures at the Multi-Purpose Room. The first lecture focused on business culture and diversity, providing students with an in-depth understanding of how cultural differences impact workplace dynamics. The second lecture, titled “Managing Across Cultures,” provides guidance into the complexities of leading diverse teams and navigating the challenges of cross-cultural management.
The students also had the chance to take part in the “Wau Artistry: Art in the Air” event, organised by the Malaysian Society Club in collaboration with the Cultural and Diversity Unit to celebrate Malaysia’s Independence Day. This event provided an ideal opportunity for the NSB students to immerse themselves in Malaysian culture and learn about the history and significance of Malaysia’s Independence Day.
On 17th and 18th August 2024, the students from NSB, Bangalore, continued their Educulture Tour Programme with IUKL where they went on an exciting trip to Genting Highlands and enjoyed various outdoor activities and they even stopped by the Genting Highlands Premium Outlet (GPO).
The next day continued with a trip to Malacca. They explored the Maritime Museum, followed by visits to several other historical landmarks, and concluded their trip at the iconic A Famosa.
We hope the students had a memorable experience and enjoyed the activities while gaining a deeper appreciation towards the state’s rich history.
