IUKL rated 4-Star in the recent SETARA rating

Recognised for its Engineering programmes, IUKL is also known as the first infrastructure university in Malaysia.

Recently, IUKL was rated 4-Star in the latest Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) Rating System SETARA 2018/2019, under the Mature University category. A total of 86 universities participated and the results were announced in December 2020.

The SETARA rating is evaluated through 38 indicators that cover four main core functions, namely general, teaching & learning, research and services. Meanwhile, the MyQUEST rating is evaluated through 35 indicators that include input, process and output dimensions that emphasize five main thrusts, namely, student quality & diversity, resource & financial sustainability, quality management system, program recognition and graduate recognition & reputation of institution.
